Hello! My name is Tingyo Chang and I am currently a senior at Homestead High School. I believe every student is capable of acing a subject, as long as they are taught with patience and understanding, which I hope to provide. I’ve held numerous leadership positions in clubs such as the National Honor Society, and Teen Advisory Committee, where I learned how to create caring and nurturing environments to encourage growth. I have experience with students of all ages and am comfortable adjusting my teaching style to the learning style of each and every student. I have been playing piano for eleven years, and I am currently Level 9 Certificate of Merit certified, so I can tutor students in both music and/or theory. I am also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and can provide help with grammar, vocabulary, or conversational practice. I offer math tutoring up to a Pre-Calculus level, as well as tutoring in Chem/Chem. Honors. I excelled in World Literature and Honors American Literature and would be happy to help with editing essays. My services include clarifying and teaching concepts, reviewing or doing homework with students, exam preparations, and as mentioned before, editing essays.
