Hi, my name is Seong Jin (Ian) Park and I am currently a freshman at Northwestern University studying journalism and economics. I have always been a high-achieving student, maintaining a 3.97 GPA with one B throughout all of high school. Through my extensive leadership and community service experience, I've had the opportunity to work with countless students at all grade levels to help with any subject ranging from foreign language, mathematics, but with an emphasis on English. I have helped to edit dozens of my peers' both academic and college essays, and I have gained valuable insight doing so. My strengths lie in social studies, English grammar/mechanics, and essay-writing, and I hope to help hone your students' writing as well as understanding of literature. Furthermore, I hope to be a useful resource in terms of standardized testing, as I have a one-sitting SAT score of 1580 (780 R/W, 800 Math), an SAT subject test Bio E score of 800, and 5's on AP Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Calculus BC, Biology, US History, and English Literature & Composition.
