About
Hi! My name is Luca, and I recently graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Astrophysics. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience with students ranging from elementary school to college, and also have extensive experience tutoring students with learning disorders (ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia). I scored a 1540 composite score on the SAT, and 800s on both the Math II and Literature SAT Subject Tests. Additionally, I scored 5's on AP World History, AP US History, and AP Language and Composition, and was selected as a Commended Scholar for my PSAT score. In terms of extracurriculars, I served as Class President for 2 years, and Vice President of my school's robotics club for 3 years. I took 20+ college classes during my 4 years of high school and graduated Salutatorian with a 4.73 GPA and Associates degrees in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. In addition to UCLA, I was accepted to both UCSB and UC Davis as a Regents Scholar. I am passionate about spreading my love for learning and curiosity and am seeking driven students who are eager to improve themselves and secure successful futures. Located in Los Angeles (90024).

He's great with younger kids. Entertaining and patient to keep their attention to learn reading and math concepts. Kids definitely learn from him.
He is very thorough and made sure I understood. His scheduling is flexible.
Luca has provided me with the knowledge to achieve my life long dream and journey, joining the Army. Each time I took one of the practice tests it lead to a bigger score leading up to the official ASVAB. Provided excellent strategies with completing arithmetic and mathematic problems with strong confidence! Understood my ability’s and weaknesses within the first session!

My daughter is a high school senior and have always been struggled with Math but now that she is a senior and taking Algebra 2 Honors, I was looking for a tutor. I initially was recommended to a different tutor but my daughter just couldn't learn and not to say she was a poor tutor but personality wasn't a match. Then, I came across Luca's profile which sounded very promising and so glad that I chose him for her tutor! She learned the basic concept after the first session. Luca was patient and spoke to her until she understood the concept by breaking it down and he was upbeat and motivating which is just what my daughter needed. She learned so much with just two sessions compared to the other sessions that she attended, but couldn't grasp. I definitely recommend Luca, he is a phenomenal tutor.

In the first session, Luca did a very nice job of assessing my 6 year old grandson’s interests, strengths and weaknesses and they appeared to bond well. I am hopeful that this will be an effective, even though their conversations will be online out of necessity during the pandemic.
