Hello, my name is Kenneth Xu, and I recently graduated from Basis Independent Silicon Valley, and I am now a freshman at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. I have a strong background in a variety of subjects, such as AP Physics 1, Honors Chemistry, Honors Biology, AP Chinese, DECA Marketing, and AP US History. I have consistently excelled academically, earning top grades in all of my coursework in high school and in college. As a tutor, I pride myself on my ability to help students not only understand complex academic concepts, but also to develop strong study skills and habits that will serve them well throughout their educational careers. As a mentor and VP of Marketing of BISV DECA, my students have all excelled and won at the regional level, and some have even won at ICDC. I have also been a part of FIRST Robotics and have mentored middle schoolers on hardware in robotics. As an older brother to a sister in tenth grade, I’ve tutored her all my life, helping her excel in elementary, middle, and high school. She’s now a straight-A student and recently got 2nd place at SVCDC.
