Hello everyone!! I am Courtney Situ, a rising sophomore majoring in Physiological Science at UCLA! I graduated from Mission San Jose High School (Fremont, CA) in June 2020. My academic passions lie in STEM, such as sciences—with a focus on Biology—and math. I have gotten A's in all of my STEM classes, and I have an unweighted GPA of 3.96. You can find a list of my past STEM courses below. I have taken the corresponding AP tests and received 5's on all of them. I am confident that I can help my students excel in STEM subjects. I can also tutor in English: I took Honors English courses for three years. I have experience tutoring students as a Program Director of Rising Youth Association and a volunteer at MSJE Homework Club. I have created STEM lessons, helped students with their homework, and made study plans for upcoming tests. If your child needs help with current coursework, I can tutor them. Courtney is a great tutor and passionate about teaching. I had an issue with science homework and she provide help by clearing the confusion, making understanding and learning fun.
Very helpful for my son in calculus AP.
Courtney is very sweet and makes you feel welcome while you are in a session with her, but she also greatly understands calculus and is very good at asnwering your questions, while also being able to reexplain concepts in different ways if you don't understand the concept.
My daughter was very happy with Courtney! Her teaching style and personality really worked for my daughter! We intend to continue!

Courtney is God sent to me and my son! My son was struggling with his AP Calculus and was feeling low and tensed but one session with Courtney was all it took to clear so much conceptually but also boosted his morale. Sidd sounds very confident now. She also offered to clear any of Sidd's doubts that he comes across whilst preparing for his test.Courtney has all that it takes to be not just a good teacher but a great mentor.
