Hi, I'm Aakriti, I'm a third-year student at Cal Poly, and I am majoring in Political Science and minoring in Gender and Sexuality studies as an honors student. As an active volunteer in various organizations in and out of my campus, I have had the opportunity to guide students in their educational ventures and foster an academic, & nurturing environment. With the experience of teaching students in elementary school, I have developed skills such as patience, integrity, and acceptance. In school, I have taken rigorous courses such as AP US Government, Algebra 1 & 2, Biology, French 1-4, Principles of Business, Law, AP Statistics, Accounting 1, U.S. History, and Am Lit H, and I'd love to help out with said subjects! I joined the Tutor.fly program because I want to help students in my community excel in courses by providing them with extra support. Aakriti is a fabulous French tutor. She creates professional lesson plans that are fun and engaging for the student. I appreciate that she tries different approaches with the student to include songs, videos, matching exercises, and quick quizzes. She hasn't been troubled by whole family participation at times. Aakriti likes to keep things interesting. She maintains a steady pace with her teaching by mixing new material and review in equal measure. I appreciate her ability to challenge and encourage the student in learning a new language. Thank you Aakriti for your hard work.
